It's Handmade Monday again, sorry I have missed the last couple, but things have been manic in the house of Mack, not to mention the dreaded Half Term! Little Mack is back to school today so normal service can resume. So here's my handmade Monday post about a lovely custom order I received:
I love nothing more than a custom order and when I received a message from a lady after a jewellery roll to carry her many pairs of hook earrings in I got thinking.............
After a long while I could not come up with a good way of storing these, so suggested she used lots of little grip seal bags for each pair of earrings and then placed them into a pocket.
I came up with this ribbon tie roll with 3 large pockets for her.
The brief was blues and lilac in a vintage feel fabric, so I cut into this gorgeous French themed linen I purchased in Australia back in December! It had been sitting on the shelf just being looked at for so long, but it was perfect.
I now have another 3 fat quarters of it in 3 other colours and am desperate to make something else with them. Do you have any ideas for what you might like to order?
Great idea, love the colours. I know someone who would love some tiny item made with the pink Eifle tower bit for her birthday, 9th July, and that is your cousin in Oz.
ReplyDeleteHope you get some other ideas and proper orders.
