Happy Birthday Beautiful Things

Wow, it's hard to believe that Beautiful Things is 2 years old already!  I totally missed our birthday which was in fact the 7th March.

Here is my lovely little stall at the Ingrave Community Market complete with it's teacup candles, bunting and a few Mothers Day cards. This was the official launch of Beautiful Things and the transition from Card Maker to textile designer/vintage crafter.

Oh how things have progressed since then.

New products introduced, custom orders, the website, Facebook Page, Twitter, Folksy Shop and now supplying high street retail outlets too.

Not to mention a new addition to our family in June this year and taking the huge leap to give up the 'day job' and focus on the business full time.

I'd like to say a few thank yous, firstly to my lovely customers and regulars, without you I would not be able to do the job I love.  Long may you enjoy buying Beautiful Things and spreading the word to your friends and family.

To my lovely Husband Mr Mack who believes in me every day despite my sometimes wacky goals and ideas, thank you for supporting me in all that I do and never once telling me to "Go back to work"!! And to Little Mack who is ever so patient and must get very fed up of hearing "not now poppett, Mummies working".  I promise I will get round to sewing your swimming badges onto your towel before you go to University.

And lastly to my fabulous Mum a.k.a. 'The Studio Support Technician' for undertaking all the fiddly tasks I find really boring.  She tirelessly covers buttons, cuts out circles of felt and unpicks vintage curtains for me and in recent months has been undertaking rather a lot of 'grandkid sitting' to allow me to get making and attending events.

Thank you all, here's to a third year of BEAUTIFUL THINGS
