This week has been all about a very last minute wholesale order.
I popped into Loo Loos boutique on Tuesday to see the lovely Lucy Webb about stocking some of my hair accessories in her new children's boutique. We had got chatting on Twitter and she'd asked me to pop in.
We spent a little while discussing colour choices but Lucy ordered 10 headband, 10 baby bands and 10 clips from the the new soon to be launched 'My Day' collection.
She also asked me to make her some bunting and 3 display pillars so she could show off the bands to her customers.
But...........she was opening on Saturday!
Cut to furious headband sticking, flower sewing and pillar padding.
Friday night saw me sitting at the dining room table, wine glass in one hand, glue gun in the other watching Game of Thrones with Mr Mack, but I did it!
Lucy opened her doors at Midday on Saturday and my spies tell me that a few hairbands have already been sold!
Good luck Lucy, I'm looking forward to supplying you with lots more goodies in the future.
Well done you!! Glad you had a glass of wine in your hand, that must have helped! The headbands are so pretty.

ReplyDeletewell done for getting them ready in time!!
That's brilliant! Oh, the thoughts of wine and glueguns though. I'm bad enough with a glue gun without the wine, although I guess the alcohol could deaden the pain of the burn!!
ReplyDeleteThe boutique looks lovely, and I'm sure your items are a lovely addition. Here's to success all round x
Great news! Hope your businesses work well together! I shiver at the thought of wine + glue gun = hot fingers!
