One Week One Pattern #OWOP14 - Day 1

So yesterday saw the beginning of One Week One Pattern and as promised I will be sporting the fabulous Christine Haynes Emery dress for a whole week!

I know I probably should have blogged yesterday but I was a tad busy winning lots of prizes!  It was the Ingrave and Herongate Flower Show (more on that to follow next week on the blog) and I zoomed straight off from there to a 60's fancy dress party (more of that on the blog next week too)!

Anyhooooo, I thought it would be appropriate to start the week off with my Home Sewing is Easy Emery.  I never liked the original shots taken of me in this dress, so Elsepth oblidged along with some lovely sunflowers in the school playground and took some more for me.

I paired my outfit with mustard tights (mainly as I have a massive plaster on my leg this week following a blackberry picking incident

But I also sported a nice new pair of tan mary janes, purchased from our friends ebay only last week.

So I think I might be a day or two behind but if you pop back in half an hour I might have got round to blogging day 2!
