Using a sewing
machine can be a lot like driving. That’s why at Beautiful Things, we have
introduced the ‘Sewing Machine Drivers Licence’ class to help people feel
confident in using a machine. This class is perfect for total beginners or people who haven't used a sewing machine since school, and just want a reminder of how to work one.
Learn how
to thread up a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, sample the basic stitches, create hems and turn corners.
These
classes are FREE* of charge and give you a great taste of what Beautiful Things
has to offer.
(*A £10
deposit is asked at the time of your booking, but this will be returned at the
end of your class.)
At the end of this class, you'll be given a 'sewing drivers licence' which you can show off to your friends and family as you can now sew!
From a
session of learning how to work a sewing machine, you’ll be able to go onto
enjoy many more of our sewing related classes we have to offer like the ones below.
