Whats on in August?

Vintage Bag Making Class – 23rd August 1pm – 4pm

Brentwood based Venue to be confirmed (probably Knights Way Centre)

If you love the eclectic style of internet blog sensation ‘Dottie Angel’ then let me share with you how you too can makes a beautiful shopper like the ones shown here from a mix of stunning vintage fabrics and trim.

All materials will be provided for this class, just bring yourself and your sewing machine. You don’t need to be a super seamstress to take part either. As long as you know how your machine works and can sew in a straight line you’ll be just fine.

Tea, coffee & cupcakes will be provided. Pre booking essential.

£30 per head (deposit £10, balance payable on the day)

Come along to this FREE open studio event to see where Claire creates her ‘Beautiful Things’ talk to Claire about her designs, view her extensive range of fabrics and discuss your next custom make with her. Drop in briefly at any time during the afternoon, or stay for the whole session and relax in the garden.

See Claires products in the flesh, which will be available to purchase on the day and take part in a free ‘make & take’ session where Claire will show you how to make a beautiful lace ruffle brooch that you can take home. (Sessions running all afternoon).

As an added bonus, drop in at 3pm and you can sample the wonderful ‘Afternoon Tea in a Box’ supplied by the award winning Linda Edmonds of the Cookery Angel.
