Happy Mothers Day
Today I spent the day with my Mummy and Daddy, Husband Dearest and Little Mack. We had a yummy roast dinner courtesy of Husband Dearest and then Mum and I were allowed a little excursion to our favourite crafty haunt Barleylands. There we visited Marianne at Sugar and Spice and I popped into Tylers Patch to buy myself a rotary cutter. (Apparently, according to Tracey it's what every good patchwork person needs)!!
I was a very lucky Mummy and Little Mack was very thoughtful and visited Folksy to buy me something yummy this year. I received this lovely looking package in the post yesterday (can you spy my new charity shop tea and coffee caddies? - Aren't they yummy for 50p!)
It was from Pants & Paper and I was very good and left it wrapped until this morning, even though I knew what it was!
How lovely is that? I think it will live in my handbag with some of these little flower making kits I made up for myself yesterday so I can sew on the go.
My Mummy was also very lucky as she received this bag that I had slaved over for most of Friday evening. It used to be an old pair of curtains!
I even made her a card to match.
I hope you all had a lovely day and I'd love to see what crafty makes you received. Please do show me.
The above card and bag is absolutely lovely and beautifully and lovingly made. If anyone is looking for something just that little bit out of the ordinary and unique, just visit Claire's shop. Thank you Claire, as usual a lovely present for me to enjoy.
